   1. Jesus Appears To Mary - John 20:1, 11-18

                     2. Jesus Appears To His Disciples - Luke 24:13-40, John 20:19-31

GOALS: (1) To show that the resurrection is an event that strengthens our hope of life after

death. Jesus conquered sin, Satan, death, and the grave. We can have control of

our lives and not let Satan rule.

(2)  To stress  how Jesus assures us that someday when He returns , all believers will

be with Him forever and ever. Because He lives, we can live, too. Jesus is alive.

We believe even though we have never seen Him. God exists and is  real.

GOALS: (1) To teach that these letters brought commendation, complaint, and correction to the

seven churches. Whatever troubles face the church, God will always be stronger and

keep it safe. No evil power should ever separate us from God.

(2)  To emphasize that faith and trust in God is necessary, but faith must be followed

      with “good works.”

                            (2)  To show that all that do not obey God will be punished, and all that obey will go to

        Heaven.

(3)  Stress that we should not let anything stop us from doing God’s work, because

even though life may be difficult, we will be rewarded in Heaven.
